Today’s adventure was involved taking a pontoon boat to various spots and snorkle. Blue Water Rafting was the outfit that took us around the Maui coast.

Waking up before sunrise was not the most fun thing but in the end it was worth it. After the standard safety talk we sped off to Crazy Train. Once we were done doing sharp-turned donuts, we cruised the coastline checking out 219 year old lava flows forming coves and cool rock formations from lava cooling at various temps.

All that was fun but our goal was to snorkle, our destination, Malokini. With “I’m on a Boat” blasting we were off. The cool thing about Malokini is the clear water and the 300 feet drop off. The water was blue and freaking deep. The fish were cool and of fairly good size. We cruised around the crater and went inside to do more snorklng. There wasn’t as many fish but the views of the drop off from the reef were awe inspiring. Again, the water was clear blue and deep. Got some good photos and video but those will not be posted until I get back.
